As part of Audi’s $15-20 million A8 L launch, the car maker today breaks a marketing effort that includes a 12-page insertion from Havas’ McKinney + Silver in Raleigh, N.C. The booklet extends Audi’s “Never follow” campaign with profiles of celebrities including singer k.d. lang and fashion designer Narciso Rodriguez. The booklet will comprise 300 ad pages in 15 Condé Nast magazines. As part of the deal, Condé Nast will send Audi marketing materials to potential A8 L buyers identified from its subscriber database.
