AT&T is considering the future of its newly acquired LA Cellular account, handled by Deutsch LA. The $25 million business, a joint venture of AT&T and BellSouth, is likely headed to AT&T Wireless Services shop Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco, sources said.
The shift is linked to AT&T taking majority ownership of LA Cellular last month. The client could decide to split the account or keep it at Deutsch, whose contract runs through mid-1999, said sources.
