DALLAS AT&T today said it would join in promoting the animated movie Cars in a deal with Disney-Pixar.

AT&T said it would back Cars with mass media radio, direct mail and television support, including Pixar-animated TV ads that tout AT&T high-speed Internet service and other offerings. The value of the agreement was not disclosed.

Omnicom Group’s GSD&M in Austin, Texas, created the ads, which break Monday.

Online ads will offer specials on Yahoo high-speed Internet, Cingular Wireless, AT&T Dish Network and other services through a co-branded Web site.
