A new public-service TV spot created by Bozell/Alexandria, Va., draws analogies with current headlines to publicize the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washi

The spot shows a series of newspaper headlines detailing atrocities that the viewer assumes come from the time of Hitler's Germany. The kicker is that the headlines chronicle current news events.
'We're trying to show a broad point of view and remind people that it is possible for history to repeat itself,' said Bozell creative director Dave Marinaccio.
A key element to the spot is the voiceover by actress Stockard Channing. '(Channing) is the best voice talent that I have ever worked with,' Marinaccio said. 'I could hear the tears in her voice when she read the copy.'
The spots will run on ABC, CBS and other networks through the balance of the year.
