Atlanta's ASO Names CD

ATLANTA Ames Scullin O'Haire has named Mike Bourne creative director. He reports to ASO CCO and partner Patrick Scullin.

Bourne will lead the independent Atlanta shop's 10-person creative department, succeeding Brian English, who left the agency.

Bourne spent the past 10 years, most recently as vp and cd, with DraftFCB in Chicago where he worked on the Kraft, Blue Cross Blue Shield, A-1 Steak Sauce and other accounts. He has also worked at several shops in Kansas City, including Barkley, the city's largest agency. In addition, Bourne is a seasoned blues performer who plays with the eponymous Mike Bourne Band.

ASO claims more than $100 million in overall billings, handling a mix of consumer and business-to-business assignments. Current clients include Food Lion, Heartgard Plus, Mitsubishi Electric, Manheim Auto Body Repair, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Barnsley Gardens Resort. The agency launched in Atlanta 10 years ago.
