Atlanta Shop Vies To Be PR Counsel For Pizzeria Uno

Uno Restaurant Corp. has named three finalists in the re-view for its public relations account.

Fletcher Martin Ewing, Atlanta; Cone, Boston; and Mullen, Wenham, Mass., have qualified, said Heyward Whetsell, senior vice president of marketing at the Boston-based client.

The agencies will make presentations later this month, with a decision expected soon thereafter, Whetsell said. Billings are undisclosed.

For the past two years, the client has handled public relations in-house. Before that, the account was at Richards/Gravelle Public Relations in Dallas.

The client operates about 180 Pizzeria Uno Chicago Bar & Grill restaurants, mostly in the Northeast and the Midwest. Pile and Co., Boston, has helped guide the search.
