Sen. John Glenn, who last week was set to make his first trip into space since his Mercury orbital flight in 1962, did the voice work for a public service radio announcement promoting a special display at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum in Boston.
The spot was created by The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., which is responsible for the library’s advertising.
As part of the special exhibit, the museum’s Web site, www.cs.umb.
edu/jfklibrary, offers Internet browsers an opportunity to hear audio excerpts from President Kennedy’s 1962 speech in which he challenged the nation to reach the moon before the end of the decade.
