Fluid, the New York-based music, sound design, editorial and visual effects studio, has added editor Bruce Ashley, 41, to its staff. Ashley comes to Fluid following a seven-year stint, from 1996 to 2003, at New York’s 89 Edit, where his editing credits included spots for Clinique, Compaq, AT&T, Miller Breweries, Motorola and Verizon, among others, and music videos for Santana, Bob Dylan and Wyclef Jean. He was the technical director and editor on live multi-camera television events for artists David Bowie (50th Anniversary Concert at Madison Square Garden) and Steely Dan (Two Against Nature TV concert for PBS) while at 89 Edit.
