Far from a busy season, it may be quieter than usual
Remember when the summers were slow? Sexy, big new business pitches would be hard to come by, and M&As would practically grind to a halt.
Except for beer and soft-drink marketers, most companies didn’t break new ad campaigns during the summer and senior executives waited until fall to switch jobs.
Then something happened a few years back–business was strong and clients were restless–which ended the traditional summer lull.
