BOSTON — Arnold has cut about 20 staffers in its headquarters here in at least its second wave of layoffs this year.

Agency representative Rebecca Sullivan said 20 employees were terminated on Thursday, owing to the continued softness in the economy. All departments at the Havas Advertising-owned shop had cuts, she said, while the agency continues to employ about 800 in Boston. No other Arnold offices are currently affected — but further cuts have not been ruled out, Sullivan said.
