Arnold Communications has been tapped to handle all marketing communications programs for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration after a six-month review.
FDA contract specialist John Speer last week confirmed the assignment and said the Boston-based shop defeated Prospect Associates in Silver Spring, Md., and Technical Resources International in Rockville, Md., in the final round of the competition.
Billings are difficult to gauge because budgets are set on a project basis. Estimates for the potential value of the assignment have run as low as $5 million and as high as $30 million per year.
