BOSTON Arnold has named agency chief financial officer Edmund Davis to its 10-person domestic operating board.
The board, led by chairman and chief creative Ron Lawner and president Fran Kelly, guides operations at the Havas shop's four full-service offices in the U.S., which are located in Boston, New York, McLean, Va., and St. Louis.
Davis, 34, is based at Arnold's Boston headquarters. He was named an executive vice president and CFO in June 2001. Prior to joining Arnold, he had been a founding partner with Interpublic Group i-shop Zentropy Partners in Cambridge, Mass.
Alluding to Davis' financial prowess, Lawner noted: "For an agency to do its best work and reward its best people, it's got to make money. And they don't call him 'Eddie Money' for nothing."
Clients of the agency include Volkswagen, Royal Caribbean and the American Legacy Foundation, as well as new additions such as Amtrak and high-end flooring concern Pergo, which Arnold added following a review last week.
