ATLANTA — Arnold is the latest agency to snare a top-tier accounting firm’s consulting spinoff. The shop has won the estimated $30-40 million KPMG Consulting account, sources said.

The client, based in McLean, Va., had been considering undisclosed agencies for months, according to sources. J. Walter Thompson, New York, will continue to handle KPMG’s accounting division.

Havas-owned Arnold will run the business out of its McLean office. The shop will create a brand identity and advertising. It was unclear at press time whether media planning and buying chores would be assigned to Arnold’s MPG.
