ATLANTA Citing a reduction in client spending, Arnold has laid off 13 employees or 10 percent of the workforce at its McLean, Va., office.

According to agency president Ken Umansky, the personnel cuts, which occurred late last week, go across the board, affecting positions in the management, creative and account service departments.

Umansky said the war in Iraq has caused many clients to reduce media expenditures, especially those involved in the technology, travel and airline industries.
