CHICAGO The U.S. Army has requested proposals in the review for its $200 million advertising account.

The RFP solicits shops for a one-year contract with four, single-year renewal options that boost the total potential value of the account to $1 billion. Replies are due Aug. 5.

The brief is posted at http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil. The review has been widely anticipated [Adweek, May 3].
