ATLANTA What started as an in-house contest for a trip to Advertising Week in New York last year has resulted in a $3 million new account for archer>malmo, the shop said.

The independent Memphis, Tenn., agency beat six shops in a review for the Markwins Beauty Products account. The other contenders were not disclosed but included agencies in Los Angeles and New York, said Shawn Haynes, senior vice president of marketing for Los Angeles-based Markwins.

There was no incumbent.
