With its acquisition of Columbian Advertising, Ammirati Puris Lintas has made its biggest expansion in the Chicago market since coming here 18 months
ago to handle creative duties for Ameritech.
Columbian specializes in direct and promotional marketing, and claims billings of $60 million under the leadership of Bernie Miller III, son of the agency’s founder.
The shop will operate as APL/Columbian and, in addition to its own clients, will work on aspects of the Ameritech business that fall within its specialties.
