Dean Anderson said he would retire from the Leslie Agency this month. Anderson joined the Greenville, S.C., shop in 1968 to manage the Kentucky Fried Chicken regional account. He was appointed president of the agency in 1977 and served in that role and as majority owner until October 1998. Since then, he has been chairman of the agency. In 1998, Anderson sold his shares of the company to present owners Carlos Jimenez, Dave Chesson, Steve Green and Scott Ziegler.
