Spammers, whose livelihood depends on their intuiting people’s wants and needs, must think the national libido has taken a turn for the worse. In a survey by the Pew Internet & American Life Project, 28 percent of adults with personal e-mail accounts said they get more spam than a year ago, vs. 22 percent who said they get less. At the same time, there’s been a dip in the number of respondents who said they’ve received porn spam (from 71 percent last year to 63 percent this year).
