LOS ANGELES Independent davidandgoliath has won creative duties for Anchor Blue, according to David Angelo, chief creative officer. The brand represents the first apparel company handled by the agency.

The Ontario, Calif.-based clothing company met with other agencies prior to its decision, but did not conduct a full review, according James Shimizu, CMO. Pickle Design, Beverly Hills, Calif., had been the company’s creative agency, Shimizu said.

“Our ambitions are to transform and elevate the brand and develop an emotional connection with our consumers, which are teen guys and girls,” Shimizu said.
