CANNES, FRANCE The U.S. scored 28 percent of entries on the Film shortlist, winning 166 places on the 588-spot roster, which will be whittled down to bronze, silver and gold winners on Friday.

TBWA\Chiat\Day scored the most U.S. entries on the shortlist, with 25 for work from its San Francisco, New York and Playa del Rey, Calif., offices for Adidas (which it shares with 180 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands), Apple, Nextel and Skittles, among other brands.
