NEW YORK — American Airlines is expected to consolidate its account at McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, sources said. Temerlin McClain, a division of McCann-Erickson WorldGroup in Irving, Texas, has handled the airline’s domestic account for 21 years and will continue in that role.

The global account, with estimated billings of $30 million, formerly handled by DDB, will be serviced out of McCann-Erickson Worldwide in New York and Temerlin. Domestically, American Airlines spends about $50 million in media, per CMR.
