BOSTON Allied Domecq Spirits North America has appointed Simon Hunt senior vice president of marketing . He succeeds Simon Cunningham, who has been named commercial director for Allied Domecq’s European operations.

Hunt had served as svp, innovation for Allied Domecq Spirits & Wines, helping to develop strategic initiatives for various brands. Based in Westport, Conn., he will now oversee marketing efforts for all brands including Kahlua, Stolichnaya, Sauza, Beefeater, Courvoisier and others. He reports to company president Jim Clerkin.
