Alaska Airlines Taps WongDoody

Alaska Airlines has selected WongDoody as its agency of record, following a 13-month review.
The Seattle-based shop has been handling day-to-day advertising duties for the airline, including all newspaper and radio ads, for over a year. The account is estimated at $10-15 million.
“Being awarded this account is a tremendous honor,” said agency chairman and creative director Tracy Wong. “Alaska Airlines is one of the crown jewel accounts in the Northwest and possesses a stellar creative heritage.”
Agency president Pat Doody noted that the agency shares a similar philosophy with the client.
Jack Evans, an Alaska Airlines representative, said WongDoody has “done an outstanding job of handling our retail advertising over the last year.
