NEW YORK AKQA said it is relocating to a larger space in December to accommodate its headquarters, which has doubled in size to 100 employees over the past year as a result of new business from The Body Shop, UGS and existing clients.

The independent interactive agency is moving from 1035 Battery Street in San Francisco to a 28,000-square-foot facility on 118 King Street, where it has signed a seven-year lease.

In addition to landing assignments from The Body Shop and UGS, a provider of product lifecycle management software and services, an AKQA representative said the company has recently gained more work from Nike and Visa to justify staffing up.
