Austin Kelley Advertising introduces “Do your part” as the tagline for Unite Georgia’s tobacco usage prevention program this week.

Radio ads from the Interpublic Group agency in Atlanta will be followed by outdoor messages in January. Two 30-second television commercials will be re-leased in early 2003. A public relations component is being managed by AKA’s Atlanta partner, Golin/Harris International.

“The campaign’s goal is to begin creating a personality for Unite Georgia,” said agency svp, account supervisor Keith Sorrell.

The “Do your part” approach was a result of market research in five Georgia cities.

“What we heard was people saying they understood the harsh ads but needed a different way to think about tobacco prevention,” said Sorrell.
