When President Clinton unveiled the billion-dollar anti-drug ad blitz earlier this month, the spot with a young woman swinging a frying pan attracted the most attention. But a quieter series of ads created in part by Boston-based Arnold Communications was also unveiled.
More than a year ago, James Dalthorp, a director with 1/33 Productions in Santa Monica, Calif., teamed with art director Todd Riddle, copywriter Mark Nardi and producer Paul Shannon to fashion the pro bono campaign.
The commercials show parents and their kids participating in ordinary activities, such as eating breakfast.
