In Today’s Diverse Global Village, ‘It Takes a Cultural Specialist’ Is Confab’s Call to Action
DALLAS–The growing influence of the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies as an industry group may make its largest leap yet, when the two-year-old organization this week plays host to key national figures, including Texas Gov. George Bush, at its semi-annual conference in San Antonio.
Also confirmed to attend is Rev. Al Sharpton, whom AHAA organizers are attempting to set a general program forum for his fight to end corporate discrimination against minority-owned and minority-targeted media.
Bush, an unofficial GOP front-runner in the 2000 presidential race, is the keynote afternoon speaker at the Friday session.
