Mullen last week continued its recent hot streak, winning the estimated $10-12 million international business-to-business ad account of Agfa-Gevaert Group.
The Wenham, Mass.-based agency topped finalists J. Walter Thompson in New York and FGI in Chapel Hill, N.C. Anderson & Lembke in New York had handled the account for the past 10 years but declined to participate in the review. Boston-based management consulting firm Pile and Co. oversaw the search process.
The assignment includes both creative development and media placement for Agfa’s digital imaging and graphics systems used in the medical, motion picture and other industries.
The Antwerp, Belgium-based company tapped Mullen to create a brand image across complex, vertical product lines.
