SAN FRANCISCO Leopold Ketel & Partners has helped university students design an award-winning marketing program to help homeless youth, the agency said.

Amy Spreadborough, an account director at the Portland, Ore., independent agency, worked with Portland State University students to reposition Janus Youth Programs, which serves homeless teens in Oregon and Washington.

Spreadborough and the students created a logo, newspaper and street marketing concepts. The organization liked the work so much it awarded the creative team the Janus Champions for Children Award.
