ILLINOIS Relationship marketing shop Townsend Agency was awarded the affinity marketing program for StockPower, which enables public companies to sell stock directly to individual investors through their Web sites. The Rosemont agency will develop direct and Web-based marketing programs for StockPower. Chemical manufacturer Pfanstiehl Laboratories of Waukegan named USA Chicago its agency of record. The agency will develop a strategic marketing program for the company targeting the pharmaceutical industry. Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory contracted Xeno Media in Chicago to redesign its Web site. Ian Scarlett of Promotions.com was named the Natalie P. Holmes Volunteer of the Year by the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing. INDIANA B.J. Thompson Associates in Mishawaka was named advertising and public relations agency of record for Cast Products, Elkhart, a national distributor of construction products and componenets to the recreational vehicle and manufactured housing industries. IOWA Schreuers & Associates in Des Moines rechristened itself Strategic America. Luther Care Servcies named Dutcher & Associates in Johnston its agency of record. The agency will provide advertising and public relations services for the Des Moines company. CMF&Z in Des Moines was named agency of record by Automatic Equipment Manufacturing, Pender, Neb. The client supplies agricultural products such as silage mills and crop navigation systems and the Blue Ox line of towing products to recreational vehicle users. The agency also was hired to work with Elanco Animal Health on the introduction of Paylean, a swine feed ingredient. CMF&Z also was named agency of record by Holman Inc., which manufacturers and supplies cement and mineral components throughout North America. Meyocks & Priebe in West Des Moines was named agency of record for Specialty Fertilizer Products, which makes micronutrient products for crops and is based in Kansas City, Mo. KANSAS Wilson Chapman in Leawood was named agency of record for indoor air purifier distributor Richmar International and Greenies, a manufacturer of edible dog products. The National Agri-Marketing Association named Jill Greene, of Meyocks & Priebe Advertising, its 2000-2001 president. MICHIGAN QEK Global Solutions, a provider of automotive original equipment manufacturer services, tapped The Berline Group in Bloomfield Hills to manage its marketing, advertising and public relations. AllOutdoors.com, an online destination for outdoor enthusiasts, named Campbell-Ewald in Detroit as its advertising agency of record. MINNESOTA Tripp Advertising, Minneapolis, added six new clients to its roster: Alberta Flyway Outfitters; Bell Canoe Works; shotgun maker Benelli USA; National Fishing Week, a Washington D.C.-based nonprofit organization; Step Outside, a national shooting sports initiative; and Sugar Lake Lodge in Grand Rapids, Minn. Volkart May & Associates' president and partner Janet M. May won a Women in Business Sales Excellence Award from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Sales & Marketing Executives Association. The company also won an ARC award from the association. TV personality and allergy medication pitchwoman Joan Lunden was the keynote speaker at the group's event. MISSOURI Geile Rexford Creative Associates in Clayton picked up the public relations account for the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra. The agency earlier won PR business for Laumeier Scuplture Park. Geile Rexford promoted the Queeny Pops summer concert series and will promote the upcoming concert season at Powell Sympony Hall. Adamson in St. Louis was named agency of record by Applied Food Biotechnology in O'Fallon, which makes Optimizor brand dog and cat food. Bruce Kupper, chief executive officer of Kupper Parker Communications in St. Louis, was named entrepreneur of the year for his region by Ernst & Young in the communications category. Maring, Kanefield & Weissman in St. Louis created a Web site, www.mkw-advertising.com. NEBRASKA The National Education Loan Network named Swanson Russell Associates in Lincoln its agency of record. Separately, the agency recently completed two television spots for True Temper Sports' Sensicore and Tri-Gold golf club shafts. Also, Swanson Russell was named agency of record for the National Mower Co., St. Paul, Minn., which manufactures powered reel-type mowers for use on golf courses. Manavision, Dayton, opened an office in Atlanta. Manavision specializes in corporate communication strategies. The new office will be headed by Anne Payton. PENNSYLVANIA The Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh named hometown agency Hallmark/Tassone, now HMS Hallmark, its agency of record. HMS Hallmark also has developed a trade campaign for Keppie Kiger, a diamond importer and manufacturer. The ads were launched at the JCK Show in Las Vegas, a jewelry trade show. Also, Cheri Gmiter, a senior vice president and management supervisor at the shop, was named to the American Advertising Federation's board of directors. WISCONSIN The Lauterbach Group tapped DMC Advertising & Direct Marketing in Pewaukee for a direct response marketing campaign for the company's Mail Advertising Supply and PPS tag and label divisions. DuFour Advertising in Sheboygan was named agency of record for Results International Systems in Columbus, Ohio. RIS offers outsourcing and data management for property and casualty insurance firms. Sprecher Bertalot & Company was put in charge of public relations and ad campaigns for the Four Points Hotel Sheraton Milwaukee Airport, formerly the Grand Milwaukee.
