Premier Communities, a builder of planned residential developments with affordable housing, has awarded its national marketing and advertising account to Inventiva following a review. The San Antonio agency has developed the slogan, "Aqui. ÁSi se puede!" to encourage families to buy their first home. More-O Corp., a software developer, has hired Michael & Partners in Dallas as agency of record for advertising, public relations and marketing initiatives. Pennebaker.LMC, Houston, has landed corporate identity projects for five new clients: CSG, an engineering firm in Washington, D.C.; Ingifts, an e-commerce site; Norton Energy Co., an Ohio-based company; DQ Holdings, a Houston energy development company; and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. The agency has also gained the accounts of Remedial Technologies Network, Sharps Compliance, Matt Camron Rugs & Tapestries and FotoFest. Consumer Credit Counseling Service has introduced three new television commercials to promote its debt counseling and restructuring business. The spots were produced by Vista Advertising, Lewisville, in conjunction with Tocrok Productions, Dallas. Quest Business Agency, Houston, has launched a print campaign for Dow Plastics introducing a new range of advanced polystyrene resins. The ads are appearing in plastics-related and application-focused trade magazines worldwide. Witherspoon & Associates has been selected to conduct a national visibility campaign for Salomon Grey Financial Corp. of Dallas. Additionally, the Fort Worth shop was selected as agency of record by the First Baptist Church of Euless. Witherspoon also recently designed and developed a Web site for Atlantic Financial Group, a real estate loan company. Trendmaker Homes, a Houston residential builder, is rolling out a 54-billboard campaign, designed by Stan & Lou Advertising, also Houston, to drive traffic to its Web site. Hothaus Design & Creative, Dallas, once again partnered with WFAA-TV to produce a new on-air graphics package for the ABC affiliate's Sunday night sports show, Chevrolet High School Football Report. T3, Austin, has developed a historical display for the bank lobbies of Extraco Corp., featuring photos mounted on burlap-wrapped cotton bales. Tom Gore has opened The News Bureau, a one-person agency in Dallas specializing in publicity for small businesses and start-up companies. A logo created by Artworks Ad Agency in Killeen for the Central Texas College Workforce Education Program was recognized with a gold medallion at the annual convention of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations, an organization for community colleges. Aries Productions in Arlington won a Silver Quill Award at the International Association of Business Communicators' district 5 conference in Dallas. The award honored an internal communications video produced for Dr Pepper and 7-Up. Stuart Bacon, Fort Worth, received a Silver Quill Award of Merit at the International Association of Business Communicators' district 5 conference in the sales, promotional and advertising writing category for its "Reel deal" campaign on behalf of Star of Texas Grill. For New Year's Eve, Patrick Henry Creative Promotions, Houston, has created a "Have a sparkling celebration" food and beverage promotion for Prime Hospitality's 22 hotel properties. BA Advertising, Dallas, has begun producing campaigns for Bacon auto dealerships in East Texas featuring singer and songwriter David Alexander. The agency has also added Chuck Nash Dealerships in San Marcos as a client. The agency will also produce a series of six ads for Brown Chevrolet in Devine starring San Antonio Spurs player Avery Johnson. M/C/C in Dallas will handle publicity duties for the Dallas Ad League's TOPS Awards in 2000. Art Garcia, principal of Graphic Content in Dallas, was the recipient of the Dallas Ad League's 1999 Minority in Advertising Award. Murray Brown Creative Group in Fort Worth has been selected by Lena Pope Home to produce the first annual report for PACE, a program designed to improve the quality of therapeutic foster care in North Texas. The McIntosh Advertising and Design (MAD) House of Austin has developed a new logo for OneSource Financial Corp. A complete branding campaign for the financial institution is under way. The agency has also been contracted to design packaging for "Stephen King's F13," a horror-themed "time-killer and desktop companion" developed by MAD's client, Blue Byte Software. A Plano-based marketing communications company, Innovative Advertising Solutions, is testing a new shopper service called Teledirect Mall Marquee. The marquees feature phones that connect shoppers to stores both inside and outside the mall when queried for a specific item. The shopper displays are designed to hold advertising. Bates Southwest, Houston, has been selected by The Woodlands as agency of record to provide ongoing advertising and public relations support for its resort and conference center. The Art Directors Club of Houston has selected 44 pieces from Rives Carlberg, Houston, for inclusion in its annual show at the Aerial Theater. Ryan Direct, Dallas, has developed an essay contest promotion for Radica, the marketer of a fishing game called Fish-or-Man Bass Fishin'.
