COLORADO Karsh & Hagan Communications in Denver was named agency of record for Datalynx, a service of First Trust Corp. NEVADA Portobella, an Italian bistro in Summerlin, hired Dunn Reber Glenn Mars Advertising & Public Relations in Reno to handle its public relations needs. The shop will also assist in creating a Web site for Portobella. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA KPR West in San Francisco, formerly Rainoldi Kerzner Radcliffe (RKR), has been acquired by Harrison Wilson & Associates in Parsippany, N.J. The agency will take the Harrison Wilson name and keep the same offices in San Francisco. Phoenix Editorial Services in San Francisco has finished editing a new series of ads for Macy's. The shop also completed several broadcast projects for Wink Communications. FilmCore in San Francisco launched a satellite division, Green, a new editing house for emerging editors. Pacific Data Images in Palo Alto created a computer-animated Statue of Liberty for a commercial spot produced by Asher&Partners in Los Angeles for the New York, New York Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. When Two Worlds Collide, a San Francisco-based management and marketing company, added Skywalker Sound Design Group to its client roster. San Francisco-based Asylum was named advertising agency for Instant Video Technologies, which is preparing for the commercial launch of Burstware, its new video delivery software. The shop was also chosen to create marketing communications for Seattle-based Entros' expansion plans. OREGON TriAd, a Bend-based advertising, marketing and public relations firm, has been chosen to provide marketing strategies for Pinnacle Architecture. Obie Media Corp. in Eugene has entered into contract negotiations for transit advertising services with BCTransit, serving Vancouver, Victoria and more than 30 smaller municipal systems in British Columbia, Canada. The shop has created a wholly owned subsidiary, Obie Media Ltd. Stephen F. Grover, Obie Media's vice president and general manager, will serve as president of the new company, which will be based in Vancouver. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA El Pollo Loco, a restaurant chain of more than 250 units, retained Morgan Marketing & Public Relations in Irvine for the launch of its new Crazy Chicken Sandwich. Four Square Productions in San Diego has moved its headquarters to a larger facility in the city's Kearney Mesa area. Radio In The Nude, a Boston-based radio commercial creative and production service, announced it will move to Santa Monica in the fall, as soon as construction is completed on its new office and studio facility. Mires Design in San Diego completed a new corporate identity system for Anacomp in Poway. Boardwalk Entertaining Design Solutions, a graphic design group in Glendale, has relocated to new offices in The Exchange in downtown Glendale. Hamon & Stern Communications in Los Angeles won Club Resorts' latest venture, a conference resort and golfing club in Aliso Viejo that is currently under construction. The shop will provide a name for the resort, and handle creative and media duties.
