ARIZONA R&R Advertising, Phoenix, added Z-TECA Mexican Grill and NextCare Urgent & Family Medicine as clients. COLORADO Carl Thompson Associates in Louisville has designed a Web site for Lakewood-based North Star Exploration. The LeGrand Group, a Denver-based integrated marketing, advertising and public relations agency, is developing and executing message and media programs for two information technology firms: Dacom, headquartered near Washington, D.C., and CeBourn, headquartered in Denver. NEVADA Circus Circus Enterprises named DSLV/Lawlor Advertising in Las Vegas as agency of record for the Colorado Belle Hotel-Casino and the Edgewater Hotel/Casino, its two casinos in the resort community of Laughlin. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Shugart Matson Young, a marketing communications agency in East Bay, added MediaWay to its client roster. Harley-Davidson and partner US Web retained Steeler & Miner Productions of Sausalito to produce daily coverage via the Web of their 95th Anniversary Reunion & Rally. Bozell Worldwide in San Francisco was named agency of record for the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose. The agency has designed and developed a campaign for the museum's newest exhibit, "Bugs Eye View." The shop was also named agency of record for nonprofit organization Project Action of San Jose. OREGON Moffatt/Rosenthal Advertising in Portland was hired by Bank of the Northwest and Copper Mountain Trust and Advisors to build each company's brand image. Bend-based TriAd produced a four-color print ad for Crossings at The Riverhouse that is designed to expand the restaurant's image beyond its reputation as a steakhouse. INS Advertising in Portland was named agency of record for Knecht's Auto Parts, an Oregon chain. HMH Advertising and Public Relations in Portland was chosen by Lincoln City Visitor and Convention Bureau to provide advertising and public relations services. The shop was also tapped to provide a marketing communications plan for Portland Mortgage. Portland-based Obie Media is designing and painting a series of 20 Urban Wallscapes on the outsides of buildings in downtown Spokane, Wash. ID, a corporate and brand identity firm in Portland, created a retail training Web site for Hewlett-Packard. The shop has created over 20 retail training kits for H-P that typically include printed materials, videos and interactive CD-ROMs. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA The San Diego Workforce Partnership awarded a 15-month contract to Stoorza, Ziegaus & Metzger in San Diego for public relations services. The shop was also retained by The San Diego Chamber of Commerce to handle its Welfare to Work awareness campaign. Oracle Corp., a global information technology provider, hired Quill Communications in Encinitas to assist with branding and strategic messaging for its education division. The Huffman Group in Huntington Beach was hired by extreme mountain bike trials rider Hans "No Way" Rey to head up marketing efforts for his newly formed Adventure Team. Terra Universal, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of cleanroom products, selected Costa Mesa-based Back Bay Communications as its agency of record. Richter-Moore Consulting in Santa Monica was hired by Biju Bodywear to handle product development, marketing and sales for its premium women's active collection. Priscomm, a full-service advertising and marketing communications company headquartered in Costa Mesa, has added three new clients: Mentat, a Los Angeles-based software company; Underground Publishing, a Laguna Beach-based publisher; and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County. The Blaze Co., a Venice-based public relations firm, was retained by Ski Lake Tahoe, a cooperative marketing consortium made up of the six largest ski resorts in the Lake Tahoe region of California and Nevada. The shop has also signed on to handle media relations for the 12th Annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon, a benefit for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. M. Bennetts Public Relations in Los Angeles was awarded the Los Angeles public relations account for Restaurants Associates, a nationwide catering company headquartered in New York. Ruby's Restaurants, a chain of 1940s-style diners, retained Morgan Marketing & Public Relations in Irvine to create and orchestrate a public relations campaign to introduce the restaurants' new reduced-fat Skinny Fries product. Rachel McCallister & Associates, The Pogachefsky Co. and KillerApp Communications have merged to form mPRm, a full-service public relations and marketing agency serving the entertainment and new media industries. The new company will have offices in New York and Los Angeles. Point B, a Newport Beach-based strategic marketing and communications agency specializing in high-tech industries, was named agency of record for ABX Hematology, a Garden Grove-based global market and technology leader in hematology analyzers. WASHINGTON Palazzo deMix, a Seattle-based communications design firm, has launched a full-scale national media campaign for National Court Appointed Special Advocates, a nationwide organization devoted to helping children in the foster care system. The campaign features Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis. Hammerquist Saffel & Halverson in Seattle has added three accounts to its client roster: Crystal Mountain Resort, located in western Washington state; Bellevue-based Sturtevant's Sporting Goods; and The Coho Cafe, set to open on Seattle's east side in the fall. Autumn Elzea of Autumn Brochures has joined with Kate Bery-Wall of Elemental Marketing to form Dulce Media & Design.
