- NEVADA Benchmark Productions, Las Vegas, a commercial production company, and Virgen Advertising, also in Las Vegas, produced a series of TV spots for local Sierra Health Services. - NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Z-Spanish Media Corp., Sacramento, which owns 32 radio stations in 13 markets, primarily for the Hispanic audience, merged with Vista Media, vendor of 10,000 billboards in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. The Montgomery Group, San Francisco, is offering marketing and branding expertise to new client Ecurator.com, a vertical portal specializing in the collector community. Michael Osborne Design, San Francisco, created a new name and identity for Vitessa Corp. (formerly ECDirect), a Seattle-based provider of e-commerce infrastructure. - OREGON Borders, Perrin & Norrander featured vintage photographs and offbeat humor in its fall print campaign for Restoration Hardware. The work was the Portland shop's first for the company, which has more than 100 stores in the U.S. and Canada. - SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Stewart Holt Advertising, Ontario, has purchased the former Chevy's restaurant site at Centrelake in Ontario. The agency will move to its new offices in March. Del Webb's Conventry Homes selected TH&M Advertising, Tustin, to provide a full-service marketing campaign for Traditions, the homebuilder's new Anthem community in Phoenix. DiZinno Thompson Integrated Marketing Solutions is providing pro-bono services to Lifesharing in San Diego (formerly known as the Organ and Tissue Acquisition Center of San Diego). The San Diego agency will first launch the organization's new name, logo and identity package. Cooper Communications, Woodland Hills, was retained by the Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival. The agency will handle advertising, public relations and promotional materials for this year's festival, scheduled for June 9-11. The Voice Mail Broadcasting Corp., Irvine, announced that the Bloomingdales department store chain is test marketing its voice mail technology to its credit card holders. Healthcare ad agency FMJ Adcomm, Venice, will provide marketing and communications expertise to the University of California at Irvine Medical Center in Orange. Christie Communications, Santa Barbara, goes international with two new clients: Padma Health Products, the U.S. division of Switzerland-based Padma; and Rooibos, a South Africa-based tea company. The Association of Film Commissioners International selected Studio City-based McDonald Media Services to handle publicity for its Locations 2000 Global Expo trade show, to be held Feb. 25-27 at the L.A. Convention Center. Giant Golf, an Irvine-based provider of national golf clinics, picked RiechesBaird Advertising, Irvine, for advertising, marketing, public relations and e-business services. The Ruby Restaurant Group, Newport Beach, used Trabuco Canyon-based The Ponzi Group as a public relations consultant for its Tournament of Roses Parade float. Singleton/Barioni, San Diego, is developing a host of marketing programs for new clients Superior Manufacturing Co., Santa Ana, and Penny Realty, San Diego. - WASHINGTON Mere days remain on Seattle-based McCann-Erickson's month-long TV ad campaign for San Francisco-based Blood Centers of the Pacific. The inaugural campaign, which began in mid-December and encouraged the donation of blood, featured a voiceover by the agency's own Valerie Piacenti.
