Ogilvy & Mather, New York, tested ads for Manhattan’s Hospital for Special Surgery. Two 60-second direct response spots ran on five channels in the New York area from July 19 through Aug. 1 in a test that cost about $80,000. If deemed successful, the campaign will be extended through September.
M/K Advertising Partners, New York, has unveiled new work for Showtime. Print and outdoor campaigns began June 21 for three original series, beginning with Rude Awakening, followed by Bonanno: A Godfather’s Story and Strange Justice, the story behind the Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill hearings.
