OREGON Collins Products selected JohnsonSheen, Portland, as agency for its new TruWood siding and trim. Portland-based agency Livengood & Co. was assigned advertising and packaging design responsibilities for Valley's Finest, a line of organic meats. Avalon Technology Group selected Eisenberg as its marketing agency. The Portland agency will be responsible for a strategic marketing plan to build the Portland company's brand identity and name awareness. TriAd has completed the first in a series of image TV, radio and print ads for Mid-Oregon Federal Credit Union. The Bend agency's first TV spot uses home-movie footage shot in the 1960s to showcase the credit union's longstanding tradition of service. Bradshaw Advertising was appointed agency for Handyman Online, a Beaverton-based home improvement contractor screening and referral service. The Portland agency will develop marketing and advertising programs to drive business to Handyman's 800 number and Web site. Obie Media Corp., Eugene, won transit advertising services for the Tri-County Metropolitan Transit District of Oregon (Tri-Met). SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Digital communications company Razorfish acquired Fuel, a Santa Monica-based broadcast design firm, and its affiliated commercial production firm, Tonga, in a stock and cash deal. Stewart Holt Advertising was named agency of record for Toyota Racing Development (TRD), a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Sales. The Ontario-based agency will produce consumer and trade ads, catalogs, brochures and point-of-sale displays for the marketers of performance parts and accessories for Toyota cars and trucks. Marinco-AFI hired Bear Advertising for a public relations assignment. The Westlake Village agency will develop a strategic public relations campaign for the Napa-based watercraft accessories company. Ornamenta, a company specializing in commissioned decorative fine arts, hired Drasnin Communications of Del Mar to handle publicity and advertising of its services. RiechesBaird Advertising in Irvine added client Portabello America, a subsidiary of Portabello S.A. of Brazil. The agency will serve as a marketing partner and will develop advertising and public relations. Point B in Newport Beach was chosen as advertising agency for Adzea Biomedical of Sunnyvale. UTAH Wall Street Communications in Salt Lake City opened an Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore. The office is the agency's first outside the U.S. WASHINGTON Seattle ad agency Purdie Rogers was named agency of record for Willamette Industries Building Materials Group. Advanced Technology Group, a local telephone company entering the Puget Sound market, hired JayRay Ads & PR to promote its new service. The Seattle office of Think New Ideas was selected by Intuit, a financial software and Web-based financial solutions company, to help promote its QuickBooks Online Payroll Service. Seattle agency Horton Lantz Marocco has moved its headquarters to 222 Dexter Ave., in the former Tony Stone building.
