ILLINOIS

Healthcare marketing agency Storandt Pann Margolis & Partners in LaGrange added Franciscan Skemp in LaCrosse, Wis., and the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., to its roster of clients.

DH Pace Company, owner of three Overhead Door distributors in Atlanta, St. Louis and Kansas City, Mo., awarded its directory advertising business to Ketchum Directory Advertising in Chicago.

Elmhurst agency Maddock Douglas recently developed a new brand identity and package design for Michael Season's brand kettle cooked potato chips. The new design uses a rustic, organic mom-and-pop design palette to reflect the company's cooking techniques and ingredients, according to the agency.

Chase/Ehrenberg & Rosene in Chicago recently created a campaign for Brown's Chicken & Pasta. The campaign, which includes television, point-of-sale and direct mail, links the fast-food restaurants with the Chicago Bears football team using the line, "Brown's ... Choice of the Chicago Bears."

Biotech company Amgen tapped Abelson-Taylor in Chicago to handle the launch of its ARANESP product, which is awaiting approval in the United States and Canada. The agency has been branding the erythropoiesis stimulating protein in Europe since May 1999.

INDIANA

Spectral USA, which makes the Cardiac STATus diagnostic test, named CRE Marcom in Indianapolis its marketing communications partner. The agency's first task will be to create a public relations campaign highlighting the impact of Spectral's products on patient care and health care costs.

IOWA

Foremost Farms, a Baraboo, Wis.-based dairy cooperative, selected Meyocks & Priebe as its agency of record. Separately, the West Des Moines shop was named relationship marketing and Web/e-business initiative agency for agricultural firm Pioneer Hi-Bred International.

Zimmerman, Laurent & Richardson in Des Moines was named agency of record for the Iowa Department of Transportation's Intelligent Transport Systems program.

KENTUCKY

Doe-Anderson Advertising in Louisville was named advertising and public relations agency for sixthmarket.com, a provider of educational programs for the online investor. Doe-Anderson won the account based on its experience with online broker TradeCast, according to sixthmarket.com officials.

MICHIGAN

The Berline Group, Bloomfield Hills, Mich., was hired by Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.-based Kewadin Casinos to handle a variety of advertising, creative and promotional projects and public relations for its five Upper Peninsula casinos. The agency also was recently selected as the agency of record for Wendy's West Michigan Co-Op. The agency has a 10-year relationship with Wendy's and currently serves co-ops based in Toledo, Ohio, as well as in the Michigan communities of Detroit, Flint/Saginaw/Bay City and Traverse City.

Meridian Advertising, Troy, Mich., added Prairie Systems Inc. to its roster. Prairie, based in Omaha, Neb., offers companies business-to-business enhanced communications solutions. The account will be handled out of Meridian's Troy and Omaha offices. Billings were not disclosed.

MINNEAPOLIS

HealtheCare named Kerker Marketing Communications in Minneapolis its agency of record. The Minneapolis company uses the Internet to offer customers healthcare options.

Wilsons Leather, a national retailer of leather outerwear and accessories, tapped Haworth Marketing & Media as its media agency of record. The Minneapolis company is running a campaign themed "Nothing but leather."

Russell & Herder, Brainerd, recently broke a campaign for metal fabrication company Clow Stamping. The print campaign focuses on small vital parts from a stealth bomber, ice pick and the Eiffel Tower with the tagline, "We can make that."

MISSOURI

St. Louis-based insecticide manufacturer Whitmire Micro-Gen Research Laboratories tapped hometown agency Kupper Parker Communications as its agency of record. Separately, the shop was named agency of record for Open Systems Group, which provides custom technology solutions for corporate and government entities.

Stlouisbestjobs.com selected Adamson in St. Louis as its marketing communications agency. The shop will be responsible for strategic counsel, advertising and public relations.

Muller + Co. in Kansas City was named agency of record for the Olathe (Mo.) Chamber of Commerce. The shop will create brand and identity programs, print ads and a direct mail campaign for the regional board.

NEBRASKA

Minneapolis-based TURFCO, a maker of topdressers and lawn renovation equipment, named Swanson Russell Associates in Lincoln as its agency of record.

OHIO

Haselow Marketing Communications in Cleveland has published a guide to regional trading blocks entitled, Navigating the Global Market Maze. The 34-page publication reviews all the world's regional marketing and analyzes the best mix of advertising and public relations programs for each national market in each region.

Bridge Communications in Cincinnati has redesigned the Web site for broadband and telephone service provider Mpower Communications. The site, www.mpowercom.com, now includes comprehensive company information, business information and marketing and sales information. The agency was recently named communications agency for Copernus, a company that provides programs for business-to-business Web sites to make the content interactive and personalized.

WISCONSIN

Celtic Advertising recently relaunched its Web site, www.celtic-ads.com. The new site allows users to view the agency's portfolio and gives them an inside view of the Brookfield shop's work. The shop was also recently awarded a Crystal Award of Distinction from The Communicator Awards for its MATC television advertising campaign.

Stephan & Brady was named agency of record for the Wisconsin Beef Council. The Madison agency will develop a comprehensive promotion and public relations program for the client.
