ARIZONA Holsum Bakery in Phoenix hired Nordensson Lynn Strategic Marketing Communications as its agency of record. The Tucson shop will create marketing and advertising campaigns for the brand in Arizona and Nevada. COLORADO Barnhart/CMI Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations in Denver added Boulder-based Access Graphics to its client roster. The company is a technical distributor of complex computing products and services. NEVADA Newly formed GustinCurtis picked up ad duties for Wingfield Springs Golf Community. The Reno shop bested three other local agencies for the business, estimated to be less than $1 million. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA Priscaro & Hukari in San Mateo changed its name to Glow Creative Communications. The Montgomery Group in San Francisco was hired by The Rabkin Institute to handle public relations duties. San Francisco School Volunteers appointed Grey Advertising as its agency. The San Francisco shop will handle all promotional and communications duties for the school volunteer program. OREGON McKinney Johnson recently completed a comprehensive branding campaign for the Janome Memory Craft computerized embroidery system. The shop created print ads and dealer support materials for the client. The agency also recently completed production on a TV spot for Nationwide Insurance Co. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA Bell Atlantic selected La Agencia de Orc' & Asociados in Los Angeles to handle its Hispanic advertising duties. The Port of Los Angeles selected Conlon/Schwartz as its advertising agency. The Los Angeles shop bested four other agencies for the estimated $1 million business. Stewart Holt Advertising in Ontario acquired Sasso & Burgoon Advertising, also in that city. George Sasso, Steven Burgoon and four other members of the acquired shop will join Stewart Holt. Tank in Beverly Hills landed two new clients: Lighthouse Food and Beverage and Key Essentials. Moss Micro, a provider of sales force automation software solutions in Irvine, tapped The Young Co. to handle its estimated $2 million account. The Santa Monica shop bested eight other agencies in a review for the business. Marshall Design Associates in Newport Beach has changed its name to Marshall Advertising & Design, to reflect the shop's transition from a graphic design firm to an advertising agency. Drasnin Communications in Del Mar added two new clients to its roster: interior design firm The Christopher Thomas Group and online mall Imporium.com. The agency has also been hired by Symmetry Postural Therapy and VOS System. Omadawn Wellness Center, a Southern California holistic healthcare and wellness facility based in Seal Beach, hired Media Dimensions in Irvine for its marketing communications efforts. Oscar's Restaurants in San Diego tapped the Los Angeles office of Stoorza, Ziegaus & Metzger to lead its Orange County media relations and positioning efforts. The Los Angeles Times selected Acento Advertising in Los Angeles to handle a direct response test as part of its marketing efforts to the Los Angeles Hispanic community. WASHINGTON Absolute Software hired Seattle's DeLaunay/Phillips to create a news media relations campaign. Absolute created CompuTrace, the patented computer tracking system that locates and assists with the recovery of lost or stolen PCs. TeamDesign in Seattle has changed its name to Methodologie.
