COLORADO The Children's Museum of Colorado Springs selected local agency Big Cat Marketing Communications to design and implement a marketing campaign for its new exhibit, "Dinosight! A Robotic Dinosaur Adventure." OREGON Grady Britton, Portland, was selected by Tektronix's Color Printing and Imaging Division to develop online and print advertising for select marketing programs. Bend-based The Garage produced a presentation and sales folder for Rock Springs Guest Ranch. The collateral sales materials include two six-color brochures to promote family vacations, meetings and retreats. Diseno International was selected by Mexpress Transportation, Santa Clarita, Calif., and its H.O.T. Services subsidiary to provide bilingual materials. The Portland agency was also chosen by the Oregon Council for Hispanic Advancement to provide Year 2000 Conference material. Creative Co. was selected to update and refine the corporate identity of Cascade Corp., Portland. The Portland firm also completed a comprehensive marketing plan for Darex Industrial, based in Ashland. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA M Bennetts Public Relations, Marina del Rey, added Zendog, owned by Zenpet.com, to its client roster. Microsoft's WebTV Networks hired Irvine-based BDS Marketing to provide marketing and sales support in retail stores throughout the country. Del Webb's Coventry Homes in Phoenix selected TH&M Advertising to provide a full-service marketing campaign for its new community in Arizona. The Tustin agency is also celebrating its 28th year in business. Talbot Design Group, Westlake Village, was retained to develop a new brand image, including packaging, menu boards and collateral, to introduce Panda's Home Meal Replacement program. Following the completion of Great Expectations' interactive Web site and a national print campaign, KleinMickaelianPartners, Century City, is now creating a 40-market radio campaign and direct mail effort for the online dating service. The mass market teen cosmetic brand Jane Cosmetics, based in Solana Beach, retained Venice-based Imagistic Media Studios to redesign and relaunch its brand Web site. Aardman Animations, Los Angeles, completed production of its first commercial for Lego (Mindstorms). Praxis Films, a Hollywood-based production company specializing in effects-driven work for commercials and special venue projects, has produced a spot titled "Hourglass" for Dodge Ram and BBDO Detroit. Hershey Associates, a Santa Monica communications consulting firm, has introduced a new dynamic business specialty, Cause Communications, to offer major foundations and nonprofit organizations comprehensive marketing and communication services. Santa Monica-based Windmill Lane Productions produced three TV spots for for advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles in Torrance heralding the introduction of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A.'s Echo vehicle. Brigham Scully, Woodland Hills, was selected to introduce South Africa-based Automatic Identification Technologies' wireless communications systems to the Americas, Asia and Europe. On Target Advertising has moved to a larger studio on Kenilworth Ave. in Los Angeles. Buckley/Friedman Marketing Communications, Costa Mesa, Calif., was tapped by European Reference Botanical Laboratories, Vista, Calif., to launch a new consumer nutritional supplement, Coromega. The business is worth over $2.5 million. Buckley/Friedman, which won the account following a review that included two other, undisclosed agencies, will break print and direct mail work before the end of the year. UTAH The Blakeslee Group, Park City, was selected by ah-ha.com to develop and implement a comprehensive public relations and corporate identity campaign.
