MASSACHUSETTS Fassino/Design in Waltham has created a logo for the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council in Cambridge. Moore & Isherwood Communications in New Bedford has been chosen for advertising chores by the Massachusetts Community College Executive Office and the Massachusetts Department of Food & Agriculture. Cahners Business Information in Newton has hired Bernard Hodes, a unit of New York-based Omnicom Group, as its recruitment agency. Bernard Hodes has 44 offices worldwide, including an outpost in Cambridge. Epsilon in Burlington has developed e-one suite, a software package designed to help clients capture pertinent Web data and use it to build customer relationships. Kortenhous Communications in Boston has added the following clients to its roster: City Access Providers, Coach, the New Hampshire House Corp. and ShopLink. Eymer Design in Boston has been chosen for projects by Beacon Skanska Construction, also in Boston. Barrett Communications, Cambridge, has created a Web site for software provider iKnowledge, Wellesley Hills. The shop also has been rehired by Simplex Co., Gardner, and EG&G, Wellesley, for the design, layout and publication of newsletters. FitzGerald Communications in Cambridge has been selected for public relations and investor communications services by Corixa Corp., a biotechnology company in Seattle. Warner in Manchester has been hired for public relations chores by Kobrick Funds, Nelson Bach USA and Bright Horizons Family Solutions. BBL Advertising in Acton has added various communications assignments for The Paper Store, PennWell Publishing's Computer Design magazine and SynQor Corp. Cramer Productions has purchased J.R. Schuman Associates in Natick, adding event planning and exhibition management to its menu of production and media services. Directech in Lexington has added Point Information Systems in Wellesley for Web site development; CSC Consulting Group in Lexington for direct mail assignments; SHYM Technology in Needham for a Web site with a built-in "seminar" component; Tally Systems in Lebanon, N.H., for a Web banner program; and Tivoli Systems in Austin, Texas, for direct mail and Internet projects. Waltham-based Woonteiler Ink has been tapped for public relations services by Donoghue, Barrett & Singal, a law firm in Boston. Separately, Woonteiler recently teamed with Rodman Group Advertising, also in Waltham, on a pro bono communications campaign for the Cape Cod and the Island United Way. Selbert Perkins Design in Cambridge has been tapped to create brochures and pamphlets for BankBoston Private Bank; design a new logo and positioning materials for the Boston Architectural Center; create a corporate brochure for Classic Restorations; develop a community plan for Forest City Development's University Park at MIT; and develop a communications plan for AIG Global Investment. In addition, Selbert Perkins is joining forces with Skolnick Architecture & Design in New York to create information graphics for exhibits at the Miami Children's Museum and is part of a team working to develop identity and communications concepts for the 15-square-mile South Central Louisville Development.
