TBWA/Chiat/Day, New York, has launched an ad campaign for New York’s Whitney Museum of American Art and its exhibition, “The American Century: Art & Culture 1900-2000.” The ads combine works such as Grant Wood’s “American Gothic” with documentary photographs and the tagline “Make some sense of America.”
Three BBDO Worldwide clients won Gold Edison trophies at the 1998 Edison Best New Products Awards. Gillette received the Grand Edison for its Mach 3 razor and blades; Frito-Lay’s Ruffles Wow! potato chips and DaimlerChrysler’s Dodge Durango both won gold awards.
