Advocate Health Care Narrows Its Review Down to 2 Agencies

Advocate Health Care has narrowed its $3 million account review to two agencies and expects to select a shop in two weeks, an executive said.

The Oak Brook, Ill.-based hospital network sent out proposal re quests to about a dozen agencies two months ago, said Greg Waters, Advocate’s vp of marketing.

Waters declined to identify the shops involved, but he said Chi cago in cumbent Coil, Counts, Ford & Cheney was invited to defend. The agency could not be reached for comment.

“We are looking for efficient ways to do our marketing and thought it was time to seek more creative ideas,” he said.

The review includes media, which is now handled by GRP Media in Chicago.
