BOSTON Adams & Knight has been hired for marketing and public relations chores supporting Connecticut’s Post-9/11 Recovery and Future Preparedness Campaign.

The independent shop in Avon, Conn., is directed to educate state residents about the new 211 help line. Efforts will be aimed at families, educators and human services professionals, launching in late winter. The budget is estimated in the six-figure range.

“Many people feel vulnerable in light of what happened on Sept. 11 and are worried about what the future might hold,” said Jill Adams, agency president, who described Adams & Knight’s mission as “helping get the word out that information, support and services are available.”
