NEW YORK The Washington Post Company reported yesterday that fourth-quarter revenue from its online publishing activities, primarily WashingtonPost.com, grew 34 percent to $14.2 million from $10.6 million in the year-earlier period.

For full-year 2004, revenue from its online businesses rose 30 percent to $46.9 million from $35.9 million the year before.

The year-over-year increase was fueled by local and national online ad revenue, which grew 54 percent in Q4 and 59 percent for the year. Revenue from the jobs section of WashingtonPost.com
