Another former Saturday Night Live comic has died, and this time the loss is being felt as keenly in the ad business as the entertainment world.
TV funnyman Phil Hartman, 49, and his wife were found dead at their Encino, Calif., home last week in an apparent murder/suicide. Hartman’s death follows Chris Farley’s untimely death last December.
Hartman (shown here), an art student and graphic designer before turning to comedy in the 1970s, was most recently a star of the NBC sitcom Newsradio.
