BOSTON The Advertising Council, the U.S. Department of Justice and the National Crime Prevention Council have teamed to launch a national anti-gun crime PSA via Mullen.

The TV spot, which is running in 30- and 60-second versions, shows images of young men on the street participating in escalating scenes of violence. A close-up shot of someone pulling a gun is shown, followed by scenes of mothers and other family members distraught over the loss of a relative.
