NEW YORK Disney-ABC Television Group will offer original ABC News videos, including exclusive interviews and raw footage, for purchase on the Apple iTunes Music Store.

The content will be tailored specifically for the iTunes consumer in categories labeled "ABC News Specials," "The Day It Happened" and "Celebrity Flashback." The videos will be priced at $1.99 per download.

"We've had a tremendous response to our World News Tonight podcasts, and with this new iTunes offering, we continue to provide what content consumers want and have grown to expect from ABC News," said David Westin, ABC News president.

In addition to ABC News content, iTunes currently offers entertainment programming for download from ABC, ABC Family, Disney Channel, Jetix and SOAPnet.

Some of the ABC News material that will be made available includes segments on snowboarders trying to survive in the Alaskan wild, a behind-the-scenes look on the set of ABC drama Grey's Anatomy and a special titled UFO: Seeing Is Believing.

"The Day it Happened" will be a collection of some of the most important news events broadcast on ABC, including footage from the day Robert Kennedy was assassinated, the resignation of President Nixon, the wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana and the fall of the Berlin Wall.

"Flashbacks" will offer old footage of celebrities like the Rolling Stones, Steven Spielberg and Grace Kelly.
