BOSTON Six agencies are in the running for Staples’ $60 million broadcast creative account, which was thrown into review three weeks ago when the client parted with Omnicom Group’s Martin/Williams after two years.

The client identified the contenders as: Havas’ Arnold; Omnicom’s TBWA\Chiat\Day; WPP’s J. Walter Thompson and Young & Rubicam; and Publicis Groupe shops Fallon and Publicis. All of the shops are pitching from their New York offices, except for Arnold, which is pursuing the business from its headquarters in Boston.
