Virgin Atlantic Airways will visit six shops next week en route to picking three finalists for its $12-15 million account, sources said. The shops were culled from 10-12 contenders [Adweek, March 24]. They are IPG’s The Martin Agency in Richmond, Va., and Mullen in Wenham, Mass.; Omnicom’s TBWA\ Chiat\Day and Merkley Newman Harty & Partners, both in New York; WPP’s Berlin Cameron/Red Cell in New York; and Maxxcom’s Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami, said a client representative.
